This Privacy Policy explains how SwiftDrop (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our file transfer service.

1. Files you send

Files you upload are encrypted and stored only for the lifetime of the transfer link. When a link expires or reaches its download limit, the underlying file is permanently deleted. We do not inspect the contents of your files, share them with third parties, or use them to train any models.

2. Information we collect

To operate your account we collect your name, email address, and authentication details. For paid plans, billing is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use information

• To provide and maintain the transfer service.
• To authenticate your account and apply your plan limits.
• To communicate important service and security notices.

4. Data retention

Transferred files are retained only until their link expires. Account data is retained while your account is active and removed on request after closure, subject to legal obligations.

We use end-to-end encryption, access controls, and isolated storage to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
